BRIEF HISTORY
Agape Employment Services commenced business in 1990 as a partnership between Mr. Ronnie Tan and his wife Mrs. Elin Tan. In the Company's early days, Agape found jobs in Singapore for Myanmar engineers/technicians. (Each Employee was issued an Employment Pass) They were employed under employment passes. Foreign domestic workers were the next group of workers deployed. Mr. Ronnie Tan also personally helped found work for some ex-inmates/prisoners who were counselled or were residents in his half-way house which was established to rehabilitate male drug addicts. Mr. Ronnie Tan is still active in the prison ministry.

In 2005 Agape Employment Services Pte Ltd was formed to take over the business of the partnership. This opens the door for more active participation of its staff in higher level of management. It is the founder’s intention that capable and deserving staff will be welcome on board to be its shareholders and directors as well.

Currently on foreign domestic workers we are concentrating on Filipinas (new deployment and most for transfer) and Indonesian (transfer only). On a limited scale we do some deployment of ‘S’ and Employment Passes for foreign professionals as well as assist companies in their applications for such passes with the Ministry of Manpower.

To enable employers and employees find 'heaven' on earth through proper matching of abilities, experiences and expectations as well learning from our mistakes.
